Toga Hospitality, manager of the Medina Apartment Hotels, Vibe Hotels and Travelodge, has enjoyed another award-winning year, with three awards at the 2005 HM Magazine awards from nine finalist nominations..

The company was awarded Best Serviced Apartment Property, Best 3.5 Star Hotel and Property Manager of the Year, presented at the HM Awards Gala Function, attended by over 350 Travel Industry professionals at the NSW Art Gallery on Thursday, April 21st.

HM Magazine awards are presented annually to showcase outstanding achievements within the hospitality and tourism industry. Following its successful conversion from the historic Adelaide Treasury building into a high-end hotel complex in 2002, Medina Grand Adelaide Treasury in 2005 received the award for Best Serviced Apartment Property for the second consecutive year.

Medina scored a second accolade at the awards with Mr Gordon Coutts of Medina Grand Perth, winning Property Manager of the Year. Mr. Coutts has been with Medina for over eight years and is proud to accept the award on behalf of the staff of Medina Grand Perth, which opened in July 2004.

Toga Hospitality also took out the award for Best Hotel in the 3.5 Star category, with the Travelodge Hotel Southbank. Travelodge hotels are the newest brand to come under the Toga management. Managing Director of Toga Hospitality, Mr Allan Vidor said, “We are delighted to win three HM awards, as they are recognition of the team’s hard work to provide a consistently high level of service to our guests”.
