Please read these terms and conditions carefully.
All reservations made via a Toga Hotels website (including www.adinahotels.com.au;www.adina.de.com; www.adina.hu; www.adina.eu; www.togahotels.com;www.vibehotels.com.au or www.travelodge.com.au) are made subject to these terms and conditions and the person making the reservation will be deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions on behalf of all persons who will be staying at the Toga hotel under the reservation (once the reservation is accepted and confirmed by Toga Hotels).
Reservations may also be governed by and subject to additional terms and conditions which are applicable to individual Toga hotels.
In these terms and conditions:
• "Toga hotel" means any of the Toga branded hotels, including Adina Apartment Hotels, Travelodge Hotels, Vibe Hotels and Medina Serviced Apartments.
• "We", "our", "us" and "Toga Hotels" mean the Toga Hotels group of companies.
• "You" and "your" mean the person who is making the reservation.
When you check-in, you may be asked to provide photographic identification.
If you are unable to provide such identification, your reservation may be cancelled and you may be liable to pay us an amount equal to the full reservation amount plus any other costs incurred by us in connection with your reservation.
Guarantee with a valid credit card is required at time of making a reservation via a Toga Hotels website as well as on check-in to the hotel.
No deposit is required when booking a flexible rate online (ie. any booking that does not require payment at time of booking). Rates that contain restrictions must be paid at the time of making the reservation on a Toga Hotels website. Please refer to individual rate terms prior to confirming your reservation.
A valid credit card or cash bond MUST be presented on check-in to the hotel.
Payments may be made by credit card (as indicated for online bookings or as indicated as being accepted at the relevant hotel) or by cash or EFTPOS at the relevant hotel.
Please note that if you are settling your account with any credit card a 1.5% credit card transaction fee will apply. You may choose to change the method of payment on check-out to cash or EFTPOS as these methods of payment do not attract this fee.
You agree to pay interim accounts when presented even though you may not have departed from our hotel.
You agree that any charges for services to you, not billed at the time of your departure, may be added to your account for settlement as arranged or may be charged to the same credit card used to pay the account at the time of departure or to the credit card used to guarantee payment of your account.
Rates and Charges
You agree that you will pay to us the room rate for each day of your stay and any additional charges up until the time you advise us that you have departed from our hotel.
All prices are quoted in Australian dollars (unless otherwise specified) per room per night and are inclusive of GST.
Prices are subject to availability and can change without notification due to fluctuations in charges and currency.
Blackout/special event periods may apply.
The "from" rates displayed on the website are indicative rates only, are subject to availability & terms and conditions apply. Please select dates and check availability to get the most up to date pricing.
Each rate or hotel package available via a Toga Hotels website is subject to individual terms and conditions.
For any booking that requires payment on check-in to the hotel, booking must be cancelled by 2:00 pm, 24 hours before arrival to avoid cancellation fee.
Cancellations after this time or no-show are subject to a cancellation fee which will be charged to the credit card used to guarantee payment of your account. The cancellation fee is equal to the accommodation fee payable for 1 night of stay. A no-show is when you do not check-in on the night your booking is reserved for.
Standard check-in time is 2.00 pm.
You agree that we may apply a charge if your required check-in time requires us to keep the room empty on the previous day.
You must advise us of any change in the number of persons using the room and agree to pay any additional charges for additional persons not included in the number stated at the time of registration.
Checkout time is 11.00 am on the date shown for your departure unless we agree to another time.
Departure after that time may incur additional room charge.
You are and remain personally liable to pay the total amount due on departure unless prior settlement arrangements have been accepted by us. If the settlement arrangements have not been met within 30 days of departure you agree to pay the total amount due on the receipt of our invoice.
You must return the key and/or security card for the room at the time of your departure and agree to pay a charge for replacement of keys you lose or fail to return same.
Persons under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a responsible
Children under the age of 12 years using existing bedding can stay at no additional charge in the room with guardians / parents.
Facilities and Services
Whilst care is taken to ensure that the description of our facilities and services is accurate, these are continually being changed, upgraded, and on occasion taken out of service. If any feature or facility is essential to you in choosing a particular property, it is your responsibility to confirm with the property prior to making your reservation that the feature or facility will be available during your stay.
To the extent permitted by law, Toga Hotels is not liable for omissions, errors or changes to the facilities and services at a property, whether temporary or permanent.
Accommodation facilities listed may not apply to all room types.
Third Party Products and Services
Toga Hotels sometimes includes third party products or services in special packages and Toga Hotels is not liable under any circumstances for any failure by third party providers to provide products or services, nor for any error, alteration or change of any kind made by those third party providers following acceptance of a booking by them.
All third party coupons, vouchers, receipts and tickets are issued subject to the terms and conditions specified by those third parties.
Toga Hotels does not warrant the accuracy of any information, statements or representations made by third parties and is not liable for any act or omission, default or negligence of any third party provider.
Releases and Indemnity
Any monies or other valuables, goods or vehicles that belong to you, brought in or on to the room, grounds or carpark remain your responsibility and we are not responsible for their safekeeping.
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to release and hold harmless Toga Hotels and its current and former officers, employees and agents against and from all expenses, costs, liabilities, claims, actions, proceedings, damages, judgments and losses of any kind whatsoever (including consequential and economic losses, property loss/damage and damage for injury, including personal injury and death) arising out of, caused by, attributable to or resulting from your reservation or your stay at the relevant Toga hotel for any reason whatsoever.
You agree to indemnify Toga Hotels and its current and former officers, employees and agents for all expenses, costs, liabilities, claims, actions, proceedings, damages, judgments and losses of any kind whatsoever (including consequential and economic losses, property loss/damage and damage for injury, including personal injury and death) incurred or suffered by Toga Hotels or its current or former officers, employees or agents arising out of, caused by, attributable to or resulting from your reservation or your stay at the relevant Toga hotel except to the except caused or contributed to by Toga Hotels or its current or former officer's, employee's or agent's negligence.
You agree that regardless of your length of stay there is no tenancy or other proprietary rights created under any laws.
We grant you a licence to stay in our hotel and we reserve the right to terminate the licence at any time.
Use of Information
You agree we may use your email address to send you information.
These terms and conditions are governed by and will be construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New South Wales, Australia.
Nothing in these terms and conditions affect any rights you may have and which by law cannot be excluded, including under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth) and under State and Territory consumer protection legislation.
Special Notice for Guests of Vibe Hotel Gold Coast
Vibe Hotel Gold Coast has a strict no party and/or no gathering policy which is enforced at all times. The no party policy is available on request and will also be provided and signed on arrival of the hotel. Vibe Hotel Gold Coast reserves the right to refuse and/or evict any guest who does not abide by the policy.
Your acceptance of Toga Hotels' offer of accommodation is on the terms and conditions outlined above.
Toga Hotels Online Gift Certificate Terms & Conditions
When you purchase a Toga Hotels Gift Certificate you agree to these terms and conditions of use and purchase. Please do not proceed and purchase a gift certificate until you have read, understood and accepted these terms and conditions.
Reservations at all Australian Toga Hotels including Adina Apartment Hotels, Travelodge Hotels, Vibe Hotels and Medina Serviced Apartments are subject to allocation and availability at the time of reservation.
Blackout dates may apply to seasonal periods, such as school holidays, public holidays and any special events periods. Room allocations fill quickly during special events, school holidays, public holidays and weekends and no guarantee can be given by Toga Hotels that an allocated room will be available at any hotel or for the days that a customer may prefer. Toga Hotels does suggest that all gift certificate recipients book well in advance to avoid disappointment.
All gift certificate reservations must be made either through the Reservations team or via the hotel direct. Gift certificate recipients must quote the gift certificate number and must also quote credit card details when making a reservation. A valid credit card is required to secure all bookings as a reservation cannot be completed without one.
Gift certificate reservations must be made by the nominated recipient, who must also provide photo identification and a valid credit card upon check-in. The given name and surname provided at the time of check-in MUST match those of the person making the reservation. This is for security reasons and cannot be waived. Gift certificates purchased in a name other than that of the guest will not be accepted.

If the amount of credit that is available on the gift certificate is less than the total value of the accommodation booking, the gift certificate recipient will be asked to pay the balance by credit card upon checking out.
2. Cancelling a Reservation
If a gift certificate recipient wishes to cancel their reservation, they must do so by contacting either the Reservations team or the hotel direct and advising of the relevant cancellation. If the gift certificate recipient fails to cancel the reservation 24 hours prior to check-in time (ie by 2.00 pm on the day prior to arrival), the relevant hotel will be entitled to deduct from the gift certificate value one night's accommodation fees in relation to the reservation as a cancellation fee.
3. Redeemable Services
Gift certificates are only valid in Australia at Toga Hotels, which include Adina Apartment Hotels, Medina Serviced Apartments, Vibe Hotels and Travelodge Hotels. A gift certificate entitles the bearer to overnight accommodation at the hotel's 'Best Available Rate' at the time of booking.
Gift certificates cannot be used in conjunction with any prepaid, sale or discounted rate. Gift certificates will be confirmed at a specified redemption rate advised by Reservations at the hotel at the time of booking.
Any remaining balance on the gift certificate can then be used towards payment or part-payment of the customer's room account from any additional charges or services used in the hotel including; food and beverage charges, mini bar, in-house movies, car parking or other incidental charges.
4. No Additional Value can be put on the Gift Certificate
Additional value cannot be added to a gift certificate. All transactions are declined once the gift certificate balance reaches zero.
However, a gift certificate recipient may redeem two or more separate gift certificates in one transaction.
A customer must purchase at least $50.00 Australian dollars per gift certificate. Larger values are available at $50.00 increments above $50.00, but the total value of an individual gift certificate may not exceed $500.00 Australian dollars. If more than $500.00 Australian dollars are required, one or more additional gift certificates must be purchased.
Toga Hotels gift certificates are only valid for the Australian dollar amount displayed on the certificate and cannot be exchanged for cash. Gift certificates do not accrue any reward or loyalty points when purchased or redeemed.
The dollar value that is purchased on the gift certificate is a pre-payment. The gift certificate should be looked after by the customer or gift recipient like cash. No credit card, credit line, overdraft protection or deposit account is associated with the gift certificate.
Payment for an online gift certificate may be made by any of the following credit cards: MasterCard, Visa and American Express.
All stated prices are in Australian dollars and include Goods and Services Tax (GST) at the current rate of 10% in Australia.
Any other taxes, charges, fees or duties that are, or may be, levied on such prices or services must be paid for by the customer unless stated otherwise.
All Toga Hotels gift certificates are non-refundable and cannot be redeemed for cash.
Toga Hotels gift certificates are delivered by email to the email address nominated by the customer upon purchase. Some email accounts (such as work email and Hotmail accounts) may categorise our email gift certificates as unwanted or 'spam' email. To avoid this, please add our email address firstname.lastname@example.org to your address book. Upon delivery of the gift certificate to the customer, the customer accepts full responsibility for the safekeeping of the gift certificate.
Toga Hotels is not liable or responsible for any loss suffered as a result of an email gift certificate being blocked by web filters or firewalls. If the recipient does not receive the email gift certificate, please contact our Toga Hotels Marketing team immediately on +61 2 9356 1000 or email@example.com to send your gift certificate to an alternative email address.
8. Expiry Date
All gift certificates will have the appropriate expiry date marked on them and will expire on that expiry date. Gift certificate expiry dates cannot be extended under any circumstances. All of the value of the gift certificate should be used before the expiry date. Any unused value will not be refunded and will become the property of Toga Hotels upon expiry.
After a gift certificate has expired, it is no longer valid. All subsequent transactions will be declined.

9. Lost/ Stolen Gift Certificates
Should a gift certificate be lost or stolen, the customer should contact Toga Hotels Marketing on +61 2 9356 1000 or email@example.com immediately and quote the gift certificate number appearing on the certificate and be able to prove the value remaining on the gift certificate.
If the customer quotes the gift certificate number, Toga Hotels will endeavour to ensure that this is noted on our records in order to prevent unauthorised use of the gift certificate.
If the email that contained the original gift certificate is deleted and the customer is unable to print it out to replace the lost gift certificate, the Toga Hotels Marketing team can be contacted to email the gift certificate to the customer. The certificate will only be emailed to the recipient or the purchaser of the certificate.
Unused value on a lost or stolen gift certificate may not be refunded or exchanged for cash or credit.
Toga Hotels accepts no responsibility for lost, stolen or fraudulent gift certificates or their unauthorised use. While Toga Hotels will endeavour to help prevent the use of the lost or stolen certificate, there is no guarantee that this will prevent the unauthorised use of the gift certificate and no representation or warranty is made by Toga Hotels that this will prevent any unauthorised use by a third party. It is the holder's responsibility to ensure the safekeeping of their gift certificate(s).
11. General Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Toga Hotels makes no representations, warranties or conditions of any kind, express or implied, with respect to the gift certificate.
To the extent permitted by law, Toga Hotels will not be liable for any injury, damage, expense, or loss whatsoever (whether direct or consequential) in relation to a gift certificate, the use of a gift certificate, or with respect to any matter relating to or arising from there. This clause does not affect, and is not intended to affect, any rights a consumer might have, which are not able to be excluded under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 or under any other applicable consumer protection laws.
12. Complaints Handling
If a customer believes they have been charged in error or has any other dispute about their gift certificate, the customer must contact the Toga Hotels Marketing team on +61 2 9356 1000 or firstname.lastname@example.org and provide details of the dispute or error.
13. Acceptance of Terms & Conditions
By selecting the ‘Purchase Voucher' button, the customer accepts all of these terms and conditions.
14. Right to Change, Modify or Amend
Toga Hotels reserves the right to modify, change or amend these terms and conditions at any time effective immediately upon notification on the Toga Hotels website.
15. Governing Law
These terms and conditions will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New South Wales, Australia.

Claims under this guarantee must be made at the same time as the accommodation is purchased. Claims must be made by calling the hotel direct.
The accommodation purchased must be the lowest available rate for your chosen hotel and room type; if there is a lower rate available for the same hotel on www.togahotels.com.au and you do not purchase it then you do not qualify for the guarantee.
“Lower Online Rate” is defined as being a published retail rate available via a website operated by another Toga Hotels online retailer for the exact same hotel, room type, sales conditions and number of guests that is cheaper than the published retail rate purchased on www.togahotels.com.au, at the time of making the booking. Corporate, package promotion, wholesaler, group travel, government and other discount rates are not eligible.
Toga Hotels must be able to verify the availability for purchase of the Lower Online Rate online at the time of claim. Other methods of verification (e.g. fax, email) are not acceptable.
