Toga Triumphs at 2006 HMAA Victorian Awards

Toga Hospitality, manager of the Medina Apartment Hotels, Vibe Hotels and Travelodge, has enjoyed another award-winning evening, picking up two awards at the 2006 Victorian HMAA Awards.

Travelodge Hotel Southbank was awarded Excellence in Standard Accommodation and Outstanding Manager, presented at the 2006 Victorian HMAA Awards Gala Function, attended by over 200 Travel Industry professionals at the Atlantic South Wharf, Wednesday 11 October.

HMAA Awards are presented annually to showcase outstanding achievements within the hospitality and tourism industry.

Opened in May 2002, Travelodge Southbank received the award for Excellence in Standard Accommodation. The award comes after also having recently been named Best Accommodation in 3.5 Star category at the 2006 HM Awards.

Travelodge Hotels scored a second accolade at the awards with Mr Craig Coughlin of Travelodge Hotel Southbank winning Outstanding Manager. Mr. Coughlin is proud to accept the award on behalf of the staff at Travelodge Southbank.

As another coo for Toga Hospitality, Medina Grand Melbourne was a finalist in the Serviced Accommodation category. These awards come off the back of Toga Hospitality being named Accommodation Chain of the Year at the recent 2006 HM Awards for Hotel and Accommodation Excellence.
